A-Level 法律課程機構建設計畫

SCBD provides a comprehensive A-Level Law programme development service for international schools, bilingual schools and international curriculum centres seeking to introduce or strengthen Law within their academic provision.

Our specialist team brings together UK-qualified solicitors, barristers and legal education professionals. We support partner institutions from initial curriculum planning and teacher preparation through to classroom delivery, assessment readiness, mock courtroom development and progression planning for undergraduate Law programmes.

A-Level Law introduces students to the principles, institutions and practical application of the law of England and Wales. Beyond subject knowledge, it develops critical thinking, structured argument, case analysis, problem-solving and evidence-based evaluation—skills that are valuable for university study in Law, Politics, International Relations, Business and related disciplines.

SCBD can support schools in developing programmes aligned with either of the following qualification frameworks:

Pearson Edexcel International A Level Law is a linear qualification assessed through two compulsory external examinations: Underlying Principles of Law and the English Legal System and The Law in Action. The course explores the nature and purpose of law, justice and morality, parliamentary and judicial law-making, dispute resolution and the application of legal principles to practical situations. Pearson states that the qualification is designed to support progression to higher education and further study in Law and other subjects.

Cambridge International AS & A Level Law (9084) develops students’ understanding of law in real-world situations and their ability to analyse, apply and evaluate legal rules. Under the 2026–2028 syllabus, AS Level covers the English Legal System and Criminal Law, while the full A Level also includes the Law of Contract and the Law of Tort.

Mock Courtroom and Applied Legal Learning

SCBD supports schools in establishing a mock courtroom and applied legal learning environment. Students can take part in simulated trials, advocacy exercises, client interviews, case conferences and legal debates, allowing abstract legal principles to be experienced through structured practice.

This approach helps schools build a distinctive academic pathway while strengthening students’ public speaking, teamwork, reasoning, research and professional communication skills.

From Subject Launch to Sustainable Delivery

Our objective is not simply to help a school add another A-Level subject. We help institutions establish a Law programme that is teachable, assessable, academically monitored, examination-ready and connected to credible university progression pathways.

SCBD services are designed for institutional clients. Qualification approval, examination entry and centre registration remain subject to the relevant awarding body’s requirements. University admission is determined independently by each institution. SCBD’s Law education services do not constitute legal advice.

模擬法庭與應用型法律學習

SCBD協助學校建立模擬法庭及應用型法律學習環境。學生可參與模擬審判、法庭辯論、客戶訪談、案件會議及法律議題討論，將抽象的法律概念轉化為有結構的實踐學習。

此類教學活動不僅有助於學校建立具辨識度的學術課程，也能有效培養學生的公開表達、團隊合作、研究分析、邏輯推理及專業溝通能力。
